Pierre Gouarin has worked for the BNP Paribas Group for over 30 years in various capacities and locations. After a period with the IT and then Group Audit functions, he moved into the area of Compliance, first in Luxembourg, then in the Channels Islands and the Isle of Man as Head of Compliance and in Paris as Group Head of AML and Chief MLRO. In 2014, Pierre has joined the NY-based Group Compliance function as Head of U.S. Sanctions & Export Controls Advisory and is Deputy General Manager. Pierre is a CAMS-certified sanctions and AML specialist and a Fellow of the International Compliance Association (M.I.C.A. - Certified Professional).
